William XXXXXX:

Sorry to hear about that. I was trying to help your WISP, & all the others with my free online marketing. Per your instructions, I have removed the listing I had for your site from all of my Directory sites.

Thank you for taking the effort to inform me, as I don't have the time to constantly check the status of all the links that I have. Over the past 8 years that I have published my information, most everyone else that have gone out of business either let their site die, or changed their "business focus" without informing me. On several occasions I was informed from visitors about a link that had "gone Porno," which I certainly didn't appreciate.

I wish you better success with whatever the future brings your way.
Best Regards,
Tim Zelenka

You know what.  I wasn’t looking under DTN SpeedNet.  Yes, we dropped the DTN last year, and bought out the Japanese Company called SpeedNet Services.  We’ve also added South Dakota and Iowa to the mix.  I don’t know how I missed us on the Texas page.  Sorry about that.

Keep up the good work, and thanks for your time.  Love the web site.  I’ve been looking for a good site like this for a long time.

Thanks for the compliment. I've been compiling & publishing my directory since 1998. I started back when I was the webmaster for what was arguably one of the original 802.11 Wireless ISPs - WirelessTCP.net

DTN SpeedNet

fixed wireless Internet access - Frederick, OK / also provides WISP services to communities in IIllinois; Indiana; Nebraska; Ohio; Texas

DTN SpeedNet is a high-speed, wireless Internet service provider. Headquartered in Omaha, NE DTN SpeedNet is an affiliated company of Data Transmission Network Corporation (DTN). DTN, founded in 1984, provides Internet and information based services to over 145,000 subscribers. DTN SpeedNet's high-speed wireless Internet access is UP TO 20 times faster than standard dial-up. Download times shrink from minutes to seconds while audio and video streaming capabilities increase. DTN SpeedNet has adapted radio frequency technology to deliver high-speed two-way data feeds between a customer's location and a local DTN SpeedNet tower. New wireless customers will be sent an antenna, a special wireless modem card, and a cable. The small antenna is attached to your home or office and connected to your PC or network server with the special wireless modem card and cable. The service coverage area is generally 8 to 10 miles around each tower, and service requires line of sight to the tower.

Are you not called DTN Speednet anymore? Let me know.

Lewistown On Line Wireless Broadband Internet Service - Lewistown, MT

Our wireless connection is a service that we are introduced to the Lewistown area in 1997. The connection will allow bursting at T1 speed for the first 11.5MB before being reduced to the guaranteed speed. Higher guaranteed speeds are available on a sliding scale.

While there is limited area availability at present, we are expanding the network to include as much of the Lewistown area as physically possible. The technology we are using requires that you have line of sight to one or our antennas. Currently, we cover most of Lewistown from the top of The Bank Building on main street (the highest point in Lewistown). We also have a wireless access point on the upper east side of town. Additionally, we have an access point at the local library. Call John at 406-538-7891

Subject: Recommending our company site

Hello,
What an excellent resourse. I had no idea there were so many folks jumping on the wireless wagon in my area. Thank you for putting this site together and of course, we would like to be on your site also.

Please permit me to tell you about what we do.

SpeedLIN is a Wireless Networking company.  We design and install WLANs and point to point, point to multi-point microwave links.  We service Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Baltimore, and Richmond and are based in Stafford, VA. Wireless Networking seems to have a lot of mystery and misperception surrounding it, so we at SpeedLIN are putting our customers back in the comfort zone by educating them as we guide them toward a technology that suits their business needs and giving them a firm, fixed quote. All of this is without a signed installation agreement and we don't hit our customers with a change orders for our failure to plan!

SpeedLIN specializes in Proxim, Orinoco, and Western Multiplex products and are a certified VAR. All of these product lines are built around the unlicensed spectrum in the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequencies. Please visit our website at www.speedlin.com or give us a call at (866)899-9697.

Any questions at all please let me know and I thank you for the opportunity....Jeff Bernard

Subject: Bad link ...

Hello Tim,

as I was going through your page http://www.onelasvegas.com/wireless/international_wireless_ISP.html I've found a bad link:

There you have in section Czech Republic comapany called Nextra Wireless. The correct name of the company is Telenor Networks and the link is www.telenornetworks.cz - thanks a lot for a change.

We provide wireless digital circuits for ISPs and telco operators using licenced 26 GHz technology.

(Nextra Wireless was a former name of the company and link was incorrect - the link you have there goes to the webpages of Nextra - Internet Services Provider ... which is also owned by Norwegian Telenor ASA.)

Btw - Internet Online as a part of Czech Telecom has not gained any licence on 3.5 GHz.

Well, Tim Zelenka is quite Czech name .... :-)

To whom it may concern,

My name is Max Lopez, I am the IT Specialist at The Magnolia Hotel in Denver Denver Colorado. We have recently implemented a w-lan throughout our entire property. We have 2 other hotels in Texas and are wanting to implement the same. We are at a crossroads when trying to decide what to charge guests. The industry standard seems to be somewhat inconsistent. I see companies charging anywhere from $5.00 per day to $20 per day, and some are free. our network is powered by Qwest and is acting as Beta site for their rollout. We are both looking for some guidance and I am hoping you might have some info on national hotels and their pricing structure for it's guests. I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me...Please feel free to contact me.
