Wireless Broadband Provider - Sunnybrae, Tappen, Sorrento, Eagle Bay, Scotch Creek, Shuswap Lake Estates, Cedar Heights, Angelmont, Rivershore, Vernon, B.C. Canada

We are a Salmon Arm, British Columbia based company, specializing in high-speed wireless internet for rural communities who are unable to receive high-speed via cable internet or ADSL. We also supply wireless solutions for resorts, hotels and businesses. Using point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless access products.

In 1997, with internet access costs rising and the demand for more bandwidth increasing, Airspeed established the first spread spectrum wireless link in the Okanagan, linking small cable companies together with a full T-1 wireless link, thus reducing access costs paid to telephone companies. This enabled them to supply new technology to smaller communities, where before prohibitive costs would have made this impossible. In 2001, we established our first 11Mb high-speed back bone linking the North Shuswap to Salmon Arm. In 2001 we established a point to multi-point wireless link, providing high - speed internet to the residents of Sorrento, Blind Bay, Scotch Creek, Sunnybrae, Tappen and Silver Creek areas. As we started providing wireless solutions to Hotels and Resorts in those areas plus others. In late Nov. 2001 Airspeed Wireless Inc. launched point to multi-point wireless link, to North Thompson residents, in and around Rivershore Estates.

Business Class WIRELESS Internet Access - SOHO Skyway has another choice in its family of Business Class Internet Access products. Our Wireless business clients enjoy symetrical high speed access, with static IP addresses needed to connect a mail, web or FTP server and other corporate applications accessed by remote users. Tested equipment and a redundant network to several upstream providers defines our wireless service as reliable and high quality. Services include complimentary email login names, domain name hosting, newsgroup access and free analog access, useful for home, a second office or when travelling.

Each wireless service is symmetrical, meaning the upload and download speeds are the same. The speed of an individual service is programmed into your equipment and can be changed to your requirements. Our Wireless service is ideal for companies requiring greater upstream speed than ADSL or located outside the ADSL serving area and wanting to avoid the high cost of an ISDN line plus Internet access.

Our Wireless services range from 256 Kbps to 20 Mbps. Choose the Wireless service that best meets the needs of your business. 256 Kbps Wireless is twice the speed of an ISDN Internet connection & costs the same as an ISDN line without the Internet access. Why pay for an ISDN line and Internet access when you can have your access for one lower price. This choice immediately doubles your speed of ISDN and reduces your costs.

Typically, customers are serviced by placing a 12" digital microwave antenna on the roof of the customer's building. The customer's data traffic travels from the customer's premises over the building's internal wiring to this rooftop antenna. The traffic is then routed via wireless transmission to another antenna on a nearby hub site building, which has a direct line of sight to the antenna on the customer's building. Hub site buildings are main aggregations points for wireless traffic and they supply our customers' buildings with high-speed redundant Internet connectivity.

FibreWireless Broadband Connectivity Soulutions - Acton, Brantford, Burlington, Guelph, Hamilton, Kingston, Oakville - Ontario, Canada

FibreWirelessTM... a cost effective solution - Today's connectivity options are vast when compared to a few years ago. No one-access type is necessarily the ultimate solution. While FibreWired networks are largely designed and built around fibre, there are solutions that can be best served with a wireless "last, last mile". Wireless access makes sense where it is cost prohibitive or not cost effective to build a fibre optic last mile.

Wireless technology is evolving quickly and FibreWired is keeping abreast of the new solutions and deploying them in controlled and workable solutions. The differentiator of the FibreWired solution is that in all cases the wireless links always "home" to a fibre backbone. This enables FibreWired to control the quality of the signal and enable FibreWired to extend a robust Service Level Agreement (SLA) to all of our wireless customers. In addition, a wireless customer is always presented with a migration path at such time more bandwidth is required. As always, scalable solutions provide FibreWired customers with ultimate flexibility and value. FibreWired can point to a solid reliable network that supports varied access types.

3.5Ghz Broadband Wireless ISP - Brockville, ON / Leeds & Greenville Counties, Ontario Canada

RipNET owns Spectrum in the 3.5Ghz Band that guarantees us interference free delivery of our Wireless product. As with all other microwave bands, you do need line-of-sight from both ends of a fixed wireless link. The line-of-sight analysis determines whether the path clears a portion of the first Fresnel zone over any potential obstructions (e.g., buildings, trees, hills, etc.) This means that depending on your location and local tree coverage your install may be as simple as a J-hook or as complex as a guyed tower in order to reach a clean line of sight to get the best signal possible. With our 6 tower system design and range of 50km often the customer has more than 1 tower and sometimes as many as 3 towers to choose from increasing the line of sight possibilities over the single tower options from unlicensed networks that do not have the range to see any other towers but the closest one and sometimes it is not close enough. There is no where in Leeds and Grenville that if you can get line of sight that our system will not reach!

High speed wireless access - Stratford, Tavistock - Ontario, Canada

Here's the short: high speed data delivered to your house via radio link. Here's the long: wireless Internet utilizes a radio link between your house and ORCCA Networks Ltd. There are two general methods of accomplishing this link: Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum and Direct Sequencing Spread Spectrum (FHSS & DSSS). These 2 technologies allow large quantities of data to be reliably "piggy-backed" on a radio carrier wave. Basically a radio and antenna are placed at your house, pointing to an ORCCA network access point. The access point is connected to the "wired" LAN (Local Area Network) at ORC and then on to the Internet. Your Internet experience is exactly the same as with a modem, except for 3 very major differences: 1) your modem and phone line are no longer needed to connect to the 'net. 2) the speed is significantly higher than traditional modem dialup. 3) your connection is "always on". No more username/password or modem dialing; just sit and surf!

Broadband Wireless Internet Service Provider WISP - Windsor ON, CANADA

Internet Emporium's broadband wireless technology wields several advantages over traditional wired solutions. It is less expensive to deploy. The elimination of the telco local loop allows us to deliver broadband access at considerable savings over any other local access carrier. It can often be implemented in days rather than weeks or months. It can be configured for multiple applications. It is, bottom line, the source of inexpensive, high-quality and high-bandwidth services. For many, it is becoming the source of choice.

The last mile, as we know it, may soon be a thing of the past. Historically, the market for broadband access has favoured incumbent telcos and cable concerns - companies that already boast a fixed network. Wireless broadband technology is on the verge of forever altering the dynamics of that arrangement. Indeed, with demand for bandwidth surging, many companies today are taking aim at alleviating the local loop bottleneck by embracing alternatives, particularly wireless.
