The AirDefense product uses remote sensors to monitor multiple access points in the network. Fujitsu Limited and NMS Communications announced that they have jointly developed a wireless video gateway system for distributing multimedia content from the Internet to handsets supporting the IMT-2000 third-generation mobile communications protocol.

NTT DoCoMo is using the new gateway system for its pathbreaking FOMA video-streaming service, called V-Live.
